The 2023 Howard County Recycling Awards honor innovators and set the sustainability standard nationwide. As our state transitions toward carbon neutrality, the Maryland Energy Administration’s Building Decarbonization Hub also promises immense value by delivering technical assistance. I urge facility owners to complete MEA’s survey on support needs.

Green Community Leadership Award:
Recognizing the efforts of community groups or organizations based in Howard County, the Green Community Leadership Award aims to highlight those who actively contribute to preserving our environment and natural resources.

To ensure the upcoming Building Decarbonization Hub aligns with your needs, MEA is seeking valuable input from building owners like you.

Are you struggling to secure funding for your small business? You're not alone. Finding the right financial support is crucial, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. We recognize the challenges, and that's why we're here to help.

Our loans are customized to each recipient and offered at or below market rates. Our Catalyst fund provides access to capital for businesses in the pre-banking stage, helping them bridge gaps in existing available funding options. Our LIFT fund provides microloans ranging from $10,000–$30,000 to small businesses for a three- to five-year term.
