Empowering Collaboration: Lighting the Path to Regional Prosperity Together
The Greater Baltimore Committee's advocacy for driving economic growth and prosperity in our region resonates with our mission at HCEDA. Initiatives like "All In 2035: A Ten-Year Economic Opportunity Plan for the Baltimore Region" exemplify the collective dedication to shaping a vibrant economic landscape.
Last week, attending the MEDA Primer was an educational experience. It provided invaluable insights into Maryland's economic landscape and strategies for statewide growth.
In our pursuit of economic empowerment, we celebrate establishments like Anegada Delights. Their commitment to community empowerment, showcased through their exceptional Caribbean cuisine, serves as an inspiration. Through our LIFT Fund, we've had the privilege to support Anegada Delights in expanding their marketing and hiring efforts.
We are committed to fostering an environment where businesses thrive, communities prosper and innovation flourishes. Together, let's continue to propel Maryland's economic development forward.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Jones, CEO |

Spotlighting our Creative Entrepreneurs |
|
Each week, we will feature an artist in our Accelerator space. Lisa J. McInnis is a versatile artist known for her fluid, hand-painted and mixed-media creations. From resin and alcohol ink to vibrant abstract pieces, Lisa embraces all things creative. Her journey began over 15 years ago when she couldn't find the colors she wanted in stores, leading her to create her own unique art.
Lisa's art is inspired by her faith and the beauty of creation. She aims to empower and inspire through her carefully curated canvases. Additionally, she donates a portion of each sale to organizations that fight human trafficking and support victims, combining her passion for art with a commitment to making a positive impact. |
