Last week’s End of Summer Bash at Smashing Grapes in the Merriweather District was a resounding success! We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended and helped make the evening so special. From business leaders and entrepreneurs to community members, it was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate another season of growth and collaboration in Howard County.


The event was filled with great conversations, new connections, and the perfect setting to unwind as we head into the fall. Smashing Grapes provided the ideal backdrop, offering a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks that set the tone for a memorable evening.

Don't Miss Out on Today's Session

Join us on Wednesday, September 18 at the Gateway Master Plan Options Public Meeting to hear a presentation about the master plan and share your input. The meeting takes place at the East Columbia 50+ Center at 6610 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, Maryland 21045.


Attend one of two identical sessions: Register here for the first session from 2:30-4:30 pm (doors open at 2:15 pm with a presentation at 2:30 pm). Register here for the second session from 5:30-7:30 pm (doors open at 5:15 pm, presentation at 5:30 pm).

The County’s Office of Workforce Development has partnered with the Howard County Library System to launch its Work on Wheels program. This new initiative enhances the Office of Workforce Development's range of services by bringing job seeking resources and services, such as resume reviews, connections to jobs and potential training, to underserved communities throughout the county.
