Business Appreciation Week 2024 Recap: Close to 200 Businesses Visited!

We’re excited to share the success of this year’s Business Appreciation Week, which took place from October 7-11, 2024! Our ambassadors visited close to 200 businesses of all industries and sizes across Howard County, giving us the chance to hear directly from the incredible companies that contribute to our thriving local economy.

During the week, ambassador teams—comprised of county department heads, government officials, community organization leaders and our team—visited businesses to learn about their growth, challenges, and future opportunities. This initiative, in collaboration with County Executive Calvin Ball, continues to be a cornerstone in HCEDA’s mission to strengthen our business community and improve the overall business climate in Howard County.
