Black History Month Spotlight: Next Level Gaming |
As part of our Black History Month feature series, we are proud to recognize Next Level Gaming, a leading Black-owned mobile entertainment company bringing game truck experiences, laser tag and virtual reality events to communities across Maryland.
Founded by Willie Blount, a former U.S. Marine and retired U.S. Congressional Staff, Next Level Gaming has rapidly expanded since 2021. This year, they are adding a third custom-built mobile game theater and have been named the official video gaming partner for Awesome Con 2025, one of the largest pop culture conventions in the region.
While they recently joined the Maryland Innovation Center (MIC), their journey is just beginning. As they continue to grow, they look forward to tapping into mentorship, networking and business development opportunities to support their expansion.
Throughout February, we are highlighting Black-owned businesses in Howard County that are making an impact, creating opportunities and driving innovation. Our commitment extends beyond Black History Month, as we continue to provide resources and programs that empower Black entrepreneurs year-round. |
