At Pumpkin Pitch 2025, five incredible startups will pitch their ideas live, competing for $10,000 in prizes. Join us on Tuesday, October 7, from 5–8 p.m. at the Maryland Innovation Center for one of the most exciting nights of innovation in Central Maryland.
This year’s pitch lineup includes NOWY, Appellate, SphereHub, KaraOrchee and Storytime AI—each bringing bold solutions and fresh ideas to the stage.

From Farm to Market: Frank’s 5th Annual Pop-Up Event |

Family owned since 1975, Frank’s Produce and Greenhouses in Elkridge is known for its eight greenhouses of vibrant flowers, herbs, vegetable plants and a seasonal produce stand. A trusted stop for fresh, local products, Frank’s continues to be a centerpiece of the community.
On Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Frank’s will host the 5th Annual Pop-Up Market. This free event features more than 50 local vendors, fresh coffee, local beer, food trucks and unique handmade goods.

Among them is Blake Brenneman, a bookbinder, paper maker and sashiko artist who creates one-of-a-kind journals, sketchbooks and restorations. By blending Japanese stitchwork with Western bookbinding, Blake transforms functional objects into exquisite works of art.
