Looking Ahead Together in the New Year

As we close out the year, we want to thank the businesses, entrepreneurs, partners, and residents who helped shape Howard County throughout the past year.

From new investments and job growth to small business milestones and community partnerships, your energy, creativity, and commitment continue to move our local economy forward. Every storefront opened, company expanded, and connection made contributed to a stronger, more resilient community.

As we ring in the New Year, we do so with gratitude for what we’ve accomplished together and optimism for what’s ahead. We look forward to continuing our work to support innovation, opportunity, and inclusive growth across Howard County in the year to come.

Kick Off the New Year with Our Community

We are hosting the annual New Year celebration for HCEDA partners and friends, business owners, entrepreneurs, and those who wish to do business with them. This event will be at The Blackwall Barn & Lodge in Columbia and feature a gourmet menu and open bar.

Join us for an evening of networking, fine food, full bar, and jazz. The menu includes lobster tails, crab cakes, beef short ribs and pork osso bucco. The band is none other than Unified Jazz Ensemble, innovative performers of jazz standards and original compositions.
